Reptiles are tetrapod animals (having 4 foot) belonging to class Reptilia that comprises Turtles, Crocodiles, Snakes, Amphibians, Lizards and their relatives. Herpetology is the study if these traditional reptile orders that are historically combine with that of modern amphibians. All of them are vertebrates, means they all have backbone. All the reptiles produce eggs; they have scales or scutes that develops as a surface cells filled with Keratin. Main characteristic of them is they are cold blooded. They have a unique feature that they have dry and scaly skin unlike other amphibians have slimy and moist skin.
